Young talent from the 4th year of electrotechnics at HT\u00b2O discovers metalworking at Tumag<\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div>

At Tumag, we are keen to invest in the future. Through internships and guided tours for schools (see also our mission statement<\/a>), we introduce young people to what we do every day.<\/p>\n

In recent weeks, we welcomed students from the 4th year of electrotechnics from the HT\u00b2O school<\/a>. In small groups of 10 to 11 students, we introduced them to our world of advanced metalworking.<\/p>\n

We were also able to immediately clear up a common misconception: metalworking is not dirty or heavy work at all. Our clean and well-lit workshop spoke for itself. And despite the nice weather outside, the students showed great interest \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n

As these students will need to choose their field of study next year, we found it important to inform them properly. We took the time to thoroughly present our turning<\/a>, milling<\/a>, EDM<\/a> and benchwork departments<\/a>, and to answer all their questions.<\/p>\n

We wish them every success in their study choice and further education. And who knows\u2026 maybe we will welcome some of them back in the future as colleagues at Tumag!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
