At Tumag, we are committed to investing in the future. Through internships and school visits (www.tumag.be/onze-missie/ ), we introduce young people to what we do every day.
In recent weeks, we welcomed students from the 4th year of electrotechnics from the HT²O school. In small groups of 10 to 11 students, we introduced them to our world of advanced metalworking.
We were also able to immediately clear up a common misconception: metalworking is not dirty or heavy work at all. Our clean and well-lit workshop spoke for itself. And despite the nice weather outside, the students showed great interest 😊
As these students will need to choose their field of study next year, we found it important to inform them properly. We took the time to thoroughly present our turning, milling, EDM and benchwork departments, and to answer all their questions.
We wish them every success in their study choice and further education. And who knows… maybe we will welcome some of them back in the future as colleagues at Tumag!
