For which industries do you manufacture moulds and punches?

We specialize in high-end tooling for demanding sectors where maximum precision and reliability are required. Do you offer support in product design (co-engineering)?

Absolutely. We prefer to be involved as early as possible in your project. Our in-house engineers analyze your design for manufacturability (Design for Manufacturing). By contributing during the design phase, we optimize the production process, often resulting in shorter lead times and lower overall production costs.

What is the average lead time for a new injection mould?

Lead time strongly depends on the complexity of the tooling. Because we carry out engineering, production (such as CNC milling and EDM), and quality control entirely in-house in Turnhout, we keep communication lines short and maintain maximum control. We always establish a clear and transparent project planning in advance, from concept to the first trial injection (FOT).

What tolerances can you achieve in precision mechanics?

Thanks to our state-of-the-art machine park for high-precision CNC machining, wire EDM, sinker EDM, and coordinate grinding, we can achieve extremely tight tolerances down to the micron level. Every precision component undergoes strict quality control and can be delivered with a detailed measurement report from our climate-controlled measuring room.

Do you also provide maintenance and overhaul of existing moulds?

Yes, Tumag offers a complete mould maintenance service. This ranges from preventive maintenance and spare part management to complex overhauls and fast repairs. For urgent repairs, we provide a 24-hour laser welding service to minimize production downtime as much as possible.
