By now, it has almost become an annual tradition: the ‘Roll-Out event’ at Autoworld Museum Brussels! Last week, the moment finally arrived: the unveiling of the newest member of the Belgium Electric Car family, called COMET! ☄
As a loyal partner, we are once again particularly proud this year that, as Tumag BV, we were able to supply precision parts for the students of Formula Electric Belgium!
Whereas in previous projects we often took care of milling the uprights, this year we supplied:
⚙ Components of the Outrunner Gearbox
⚙ A complete set of aluminum wheels
⚙ The molds for the carbon wheels
For this, we used several of our machining techniques, including CNC turning, CNC milling, and wire EDM.
At a later stage, we machined the carbon rims once again on our milling machine! Curious to see how this was done?
